MACAE has two publications to keep its members current on what's happening in the field of adult education.

• Update is a quarterly newsletter of ideas, reviews, opinions, and articles related to the various facets of adult education as professional practice.
   
• Practical Thinking is a journal of critical thought produced three times a year and encourages the practical scholarship of members by inviting them to explore and analyze themes of common interest. It is a collaborative venture of MACAE and the Minnesota Independent Scholars Forum.
